FROG Boat Trip 12th June 2010

This was our FROG outing on the good ship 'Wargrave', built in 1913, by Salter's of Oxford. A rather beautiful boat altogether. We were scheduled to leave Salter's quai at 6.30pm sharp.
Some of us foregathered at the 'Head of the River' pub, at 6 o'clock, for a swift pre-embarkation libation. Soon we were on our way.
As well as a good cross-section of FROG membership - patients, family and friends - we were graced with the presence not only of our special nurse, Gemma Crane (seen here to the right of Sue Mynall) but also of our favourite surgeon, David Cranston (here to the right of Clive Stone).
Before long we were unleashed on a splendid buffet in the saloon.
Ah! The wind in the willows! (perhaps the bean salad was to blame)
It was a little chilly on deck as the evening progressed . . .
. . . and all evenings come to an end . . .
. . . all too soon we were back in town and disembarking, but with plenty of smiles all round.
Thanx to everyone who submitted photos
